What if an informal event was hosted by the Pierce House? Would that require a COA staff person?
A 2x/month afternoon, esp. in winter with a fire in the fireplace…would be pretty sweet. The knitting group might love one of those rooms for their meetings. Maybe others would too. It seems a shame that we are not being more flexible and creative. It is my understanding that the PH Committee is upgrading the kitchen and working on accessibility-both for the bathroom and entrance., so that should not be an issue in a matter of time. The Pierce House will be a facility that we maintain, we might as well use it. ------ Sara Mattes > On Sep 18, 2023, at 6:10 PM, Edward Young via Lincoln > <lincoln@lincolntalk.org> wrote: > > > Another poster wrote: "Besides poor accessibility, COA does not have the > staff to be present at Peirce house for drop ins.” > > Wonder if one of the rooms at the Library is accessible and can be used for > that purpose during Library hours? > -- > The LincolnTalk mailing list. > To post, send mail to Lincoln@lincolntalk.org. > Browse the archives at https://pairlist9.pair.net/mailman/private/lincoln/. > Change your subscription settings at > https://pairlist9.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/lincoln. >
