A Walk in the Park: Guided Tour of deCordova Sculpture Park

Join a deCordova Guide for a tour through the Park. Each tour is a lively 
conversation about artists, art-making processes, materials, and deCordova’s 
rich history. Ask about your favorite sculpture, new acquisition, or the 
history of campus – from the glaciers cutting the landscape to how Julien and 
Lizzie de Cordova’s home became a Sculpture Park and Museum.

Investigate ideas and unique materials inspired by themes and artists on view 
in the Sculpture Park. Find your own approach and/or collaborate to construct 
creative sculptures. Join us for a short time or the entire drop-in window.

Art & Ales: Ciderfest
Sunday, September 24, 4:30 – 6:30PM

Raise your glass for an art-inspired hard cider tasting! DeCordova’s signature 
event is back with seasonal craft ciders from Massachusetts-based Artifact 
Cider Project accompanied by your favorite sculptures, live American Songbook 
music by Lincoln resident Jim White, and the beginnings of unbeatable fall 
foliage. This family-friendly event features playful cider and sculpture 
pairings so visitors can see familiar sculptures in a new way. Cheers!
Families welcome–this event is for all ages, but you must be 21 or older to 
drink alcohol. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

New England Performance Series: Vance Gilbert

deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is pleased to welcome Vance Gilbert as part 
of the New England Performance Series. 30 years into his career, Vance 
Gilbert’s songwriter’s influence can be felt all over the contemporary Folk and 
Americana realm as he has helped pave the way for many of the BIPOC artists who 
have followed. Considered by many to be an integral part of the national folk 
scene, this Grammy-nominated artist promises to deliver an evening of 
unforgettable music and storytelling.
