Hello LT,

I’d like to introduce you to Bella, a 6 year old terrier/dachshund mix.

Due to terminal illness and life changing circumstances I have to move into
assisted living and cannot take my Bella with me.

I’ve been trying to reach out to everyone I know to get out word that I need to
re-home Bella immediately and cannot I just cannot bear to surrender her to a
shelter.

This is really REALLY hard. 😢

Bella is a darling wire-haired terrier/dachshund mix. She's incredibly sweet
and affectionate (really, she's like a cat sometimes), but she can be quite
nervous and anxious around new people.

Since learning of my need to move into assisted living, I have had her working
with a dog trainer and I am very optimistic she's going to gain confidence and
be more comfortable with other people. She has responded quite well to clicker
training, and she's very food motivated!

In order to find her the perfect forever home, I can arrange to have her
dropped off anywhere in New England.

To give full disclosure, Bella has ONCE nipped a dog sitter: This was my
mistake as it was absolutely the wrong situation for her that I should have
NEVER put her in (a group of strange dogs and a new environment). Needless to
say the situation was very stressful for her.

I don’t know how she is with children, but as said, she is very anxious &
nervous in new situations. My thought is that she would be adopted by a person
or couple without children or empty nesters.

Similarly, I do not know how she would be with cats.

Bella is up to date with all vaccinations and is a happy and healthy companion.
She has had no trauma nor previous health issues.

I would appreciate anyone interested to contact my good friend here in Lincoln
via email at: linda.lame...@gmail.com

Thank you,
