All Lincoln School students begin classes tomorrow morning! Hundreds of excited and apprehensive children will converge on Ballfield Road at 8 AM.
Drivers, please be cautious of children waiting for buses, walking and biking, and at crosswalks. Please also notice 20 MPH speed limits and anticipate added traffic on Lincoln Road around 8 AM arrival and 2:50 PM dismissal. Principals Lynn Fagan, Sarah Collmer and Jason Peledge have sent families this year's teacher assignments, drop-off and pick-up procedures, supply lists (erasable color pencils seem to be a hot item), and warm welcomes. New District Superintendent Parry Graham set the year’s opening theme as “belonging” for all new and returning students, faculty, staff and administrators, including himself. Breakfast and lunch are available free to everyone thanks to funding passed this summer by the state legislature. First day menu choices: hot dog on a bun, grilled cheese sandwich or cereal.
