The Sumner Tunnel from East Boston to the City is closed until late August. Both the Ted Williams and the Callahan from Boston to East Boston are open.
I went to Logan late this morning. Getting there from I - 90 was easy. Getting from Logan through the Ted Williams to the Pike was about 35 minutes at 11:00 AM. Lynn’s solution through Chelsea to Cambridge or Medford might be a solution, but it’s worth checking with Google Map or its brethren.
