Hello Lincolntalk,
The Town of Lincoln has developed a 2023 Comprehensive Climate Action Plan and
is now seeking feedback from residents. The plan serves as a framework to help
guide the town and its community members towards reducing greenhouse gas
emissions while also advancing community resilience in equitable and
sustainable ways. The Plan outlines seven climate goals and recommended
priority strategies related to energy, mobility, built environment, working
lands and natural resources, water and waste management, and social resilience.
Residents are now invited to share their input on the plan through an online
survey this summer, available at https://forms.gle/tmkTpoLjArj5Tkug7.
An online dashboard is also available, which provides a summary of the Plan and
will be used to track the town's progress towards its climate goals and
strategy implementation: https://mapc.ma/L-CAP.

The plan was developed based on community and stakeholder feedback from a
series of community workshops, focus groups, and other engagement events. All
details about the planning process are available on the town's website

A Comprehensive Climate Action Plan Helps Lincoln Achieve its Goals
Through inclusive outreach and engagement, climate action planning helps
communities identify needs and goals, develop achievable strategies to reduce
their carbon footprint, increase resilience and sustainability, and center
equity and environmental justice throughout the process.

The L-CAP was driven and supported by stakeholders throughout the community,
including residents, businesses, community organizations, Town staff, and many
of the Town's boards and committees - such as the Green Energy Committee and
the Climate Action Lincoln Subcommittee.

Thank you for your input, and have a great summer!
