The Lincoln Masons have teamed with the Lincoln Boy Scouts, sharing interesting and entertaining lectures with Troop 127. Last week's speaker, Malcom Burwell, a local inventor and small business creator, discussed his many inventions (a chocolate manufacturing machine!) and his life-saving colon stapling invention used to repair the large colon after cancer surgery. The Scouts found the lecture fascinating and gave them an idea as to how math and science are applied in the real world. If you have an interest in learning more about Lincoln's Scout troop, please email Mark Soukup at [email protected] mailto:[email protected]. Our troop has capacity for two additional 7th graders up to three eighth graders. Yours in scouting, Mark Soukup Lincoln Troop 127 Scoutmaster
