Did you know that Lincoln has over 10 student robotics teams? On May 31, the
Lincoln GearTicks are hosting a STEM Open House from 7-8 PM at Harwell Pod A
where you can see some of the amazing robots our students built this year.
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. You
can come for a few minutes or the whole hour.

Our programs are organized through FIRST
(www.firstinspires.org<http://www.firstinspires.org>) and the Lincoln
Recreation Department. FLL Explore introduces 1st-3rd graders to STEM through
Lego building and programming activities, running for 6 weeks starting in
January. FLL Challenge involves 4th-8th graders building and programming Lego
robots for specific tasks on a playing field, lasting 12 weeks from early
September. FTC caters to 7th-12th graders with a commitment of 9+ hours/week,
designing robots using 3D-printed and laser-cut materials, and programming in
Java.

Come see the robots these teams have built and find out more about joining our
programs!
