Water Main Flushing The Lincoln Water Department will be flushing water mains over the next few weeks.
Tuesday May 9th and Wednesday May 10th, Bedford Road South of Rte 2, Sandy Pond Road and side roads off of those roads. Flushing will occur between 1:00 and 8:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. If your water becomes rusty as a result of the flushing, avoid running hot water and doing laundry. Flush water out a garden hose until it becomes clear. This usually takes less than 10 minutes.
