Here we are at the last morning, last afternoon before the first night on our circle of time. You are invited to spend a few moments between coming and going here at the Clark Gallery. 10:30 to 2:30
On a treasure hunt of sorts... have you seen the paper dress caught in time like Degas' dancer tutus? Or the mangrove queen who glows in pearls and intricately painted leaves? Or the man that is a bird or the other way around? The head in stone? The surprising birch? The trees that can see? How many of the books have you read that hang on the white wall? When has the color orange glowed so perfectly? You are invited to come find them. And lift a glass of fizz (non alcoholic) , small, to the coming new year. And to those who of us all who have birthdays on this day, please feel greeted. Come bring yourself and kids who like to look at the work of other hands and eyes in our human work of self expression. We cannot slow the inevitable movement of time but we can sometimes move a little slower ourselves. Best wishes for the new year! Thank you to Dana, gallery owner, and JJ, MC for the work in holding a place for artists. Moira Usually Lindentree Farm
