Thanks Sasha, I’m not an attorney and don’t know the law, so you are probably correct. It’s likely I’m using the wrong term “electronic”, when it’s more like “zoom”.
Notarize has you get on video, verify your identify with a license/passport, answer specific question only you know and then you add your signature (electronically) while on video. Maybe this meets the necessary criteria for MA. (I have no financial interest in this company, but it was nice to notarize from home at 6pm.) I will only add that my MA attorney was the one who recommended using the Notarize application. The MA Judge reviewed and accepted the documents.
