Come to Robbins House in Concord…poetry, music and conversation commemorating the life and death of Brister Freeman This event has been, in large part, organized by Lincoln’s own, Elise Lemire, author of Black Walden and Battle Green Vietnam.

There he lived with his wife, Fenda, and > their three children, supporting his family as a day laborer.
