Subject: New Water Quality report just published

Public Water Quality:

Ever wonder what's in the public water? Every year the Water Department is
required to publish an official Consumer Quality Report (CCR) explaining what
the Lincoln Water Department adds to the water and the results of all the tests
performed during the year. The data collected during 2021 is now available to
the public both on line and in print.

In print:

  * In the lower lobby of the Town Offices
  *   At the Library

On line:

  * On the official Water Department website: Lincolntown.org > Government >
Water Department > Water Quality > 2021
  * Or use the direct link:
https://www.lincolntown.org/DocumentCenter/View/72478/2021-Consumer-Confidence-Report---FINAL-

Private Wells:

Those who have water from private wells should also test their water every year
or two. The Department Website lists several local laboratories for your
convenience.

If you would like to have your private well or your public water quality tested
at an independent laboratory, several local laboratories are listed below. The
MassDEP has a searchable database of
laboratories<http://public.dep.state.ma.us/Labcert/Labcert.aspx> that you can
use to find a laboratory on your own. Please read the MassDEP's guidance
document<http://www.mass.gov/eea/docs/dep/water/drinking/alpha/i-thru-z/qalabjp.pdf>
on things to consider when choosing a laboratory.
