Hi all - I converted my tub to a shower...and here are some suggestions to think about: If you intend to "age in place" OR plan to sell your home in the future which might include older people who are downsizing, consider putting in 1. a fold-down shower seat - takes up very little room. 2. a hand shower in addition to overhead. 3. no raised stoop to get into the shower. Consider sloping the floor towards the drain for accommodating a wheel chair or transfer chair. 4. a shower door that opens wide 5. water faucets that enable the water to come on immediately to the temperature you want instead of wasting water to get to the right temperature. 6. And most important - GRAB BAR(s)!!
Hope this helps. Diane Climo > 4On 04/26/2022 9:15 AM Ann Odessey <ann.odes...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > We are planning a tub to shower conversion.
