Just wondering about road salting. Did Lincoln change its policy? For years
we didn't salt because it was bad for the trees, etc. But there's
definitely been salt on the roads lately.
For anyone who missed it: this piece in the WaPo.

Citing danger to freshwater, scientists say we need to put brakes on road
salts. De-icing salts end up contaminating lakes and streams and building
up in wetlands. The pollution also affects our drinking water. By Erin
