I work in Early Education and a few of my personal favorites for the very
young are:

“Never Touch a Porcupine”

“Never Touch a Hedgehog”  by Make Believe Ideas

First 100 Words by Roger Priddy ( padded book)

There is also a box set with 3 books in this series, among others.


Any of the Bill Martin jr. board books.

I especially like, “Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?”

(The push button sounds version)


“Roar Roar, I’m a Dinosaur” by Jo Lodge
