Dear Fellow Organic Peach Buyers - I too had the exact experience with the crate of organic peaches I ordered last month. A friend in town & I shared the order - both of us had the exact results as Kathryn & Melissa mentioned in earlier posts - hard as rocks, then they turned mushy - mealy - bruised - and had small black spots all over - out of the whole batch, we might have gotten one or two good peaches. The rest I prepped (or tried to) for pie making and jam, etc., pro-tip - bad fruit doesn’t revive in prepping for pie/jam… ; ) So, as another post suggested, I’ll just stay local and get small batches and take less of a leap of faith next time.
