There should be no differences in result coming from plugging in a different hdmi cable, it suggests cable quality / connectivity issue.
There are now different hdmi implementations in 3.1 based and tracking based kernels. That's due to hdmi patches landing upstream and my performing a major adaptation to keep all that working. That you're reporting both 3.1 and tracking both act in the same broken way suggests what you need to get this symptom is specific to your side somehow and is independent of the kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Linaro Release Team, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/892837 Title: Accelerated graphics fails to come up on staging-panda Status in Linaro Android: Confirmed Status in Linaro Texas Instruments Landing Team: New Bug description: On https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/staging- panda/#build=101 hardware graphics fail to come up on 4430.
