I see that perf.bbappend was updated in July to grab the 4.0.2 source file from Debian: https://review.linaro.org/#/c/7140/ But that one is now gone too.
Why is a separate pull even needed? I tested the latest (r9) perf.bb from poky and it builds the perf tool from kernel-sources with no issue.
