Some more changes now also added to the status link
https://wiki.linaro.org/WorkingGroups/Middleware/Multimedia/WeeklyReport

1.
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/libjpeg-turbo/+spec/engr-mm-codec-jpeg-jcs-rgba888
will not make it to 1110 - work was larger than the time available

2. for libpng: a release will be made using version 1.5 of libpng.
Ubuntu currently has version 1.2 but upstream has moved on to 1.5. Cost:
we will need to carry both 1.2 and 1.5 version for a while as they are
not compatible - but most apps will build cleanly against 1.5.

3.
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro-multimedia-x264/+spec/engr-multimedia-codec-x264-preload
will not make it to 1110 - the community folks working on this one
reported that the preload engine was working but the improvement was not
obvious - so there will be no release related to x264 this month.

Best regards,
