== Summary ==
cortex-strings 1.0 released
 * This will be used as a basis for getting the string routines into the
common C libraries.
 * GLIBC is underway with one routine
 * Started investigating newlib

Browser benchmarks:
 * Investigating the basics of building Firefox and using it as a browsing
and JavaScript benchmark

Sync primitives:
 * Blocked on upstream GCC review. All other components including QEMU and
GLIBC are upstream.

Binary toolchains:
 * Wrote up a specification, began discussion.
 * Looking into tools for doing the build and test. crosstool-ng looks
decent.

QEMU and A15:
 * Working on usermode support for the new A15 instructions. Will allow
testing the A15 version of GCC when it comes out of ARM.
 * Discussed A15 system mode, split out into blueprints and cards

GCC performance:
 * Keeping on.
 * Default NEON vector size is now quad word. Should show a nice speed up.

Best regards,
Mounir
