A patch belongs to a branch even in Gerrit.
One user story is moving patches from branch B to branch A. I believe
the only way to handle this in Gerrit is to resubmit as new commits.
Another one is how to perform rebase in Gerrit, reorder/remove/squash
commits on a branch. How is this described in Gerrit?
