Several people were asking me what the Linaro kernel actually is, what it contains, the patch acceptance criteria, etc. And since this happened while I was also questioning our previous kernel maintenance process[1], I took upon myself to formally document what the current process is for the benefit of all, so people (including myself) could refer to it in the future.
