You're not doing anything wrong: only Frescobaldi has not been updated
yet in MacPorts. :)
I'm preparing the prebuilt DMG disk images right now.
Later I'll submit the Portfile update to MacPorts, then we'll have to
wait a couple of days before my submission gets reviewed and merged in
MacPorts.
