David, Wow! The power of programming knowledge! Yeah, size can be set based on duration. In my particular case, this is giving some unwanted effects since the duration of all my notes are not the same (unlike in the small example I made up for this post). So I will be using your earlier suggestion.
On the other hand, what would be nice is if the NoteName could be changed based on duration. In particular, if the note is a half note, I would like to add a character (say a "-" or a "a") to the note name. This could be more involved probably.
