Off-topic: I recently came across fernapp[1] which lets you run Linux desktop applications (like LibreOffice) in a web browser. The code is Java and is licensed under the GPL. Perhaps it might be of interest to anyone wanting to set up something like LilyBin[2] (by making Frescobaldi usable through a browser?) in order to make it easy for people to try out LilyPond without installing anything, or to use it on a tablet, etc... Or possibly for some future version of the LSR or the LilyPond website?
