When you have the time, try implementing my 'rptChord'
pseudo-code in Scheme, and then test the construct:

harmonies = \chordmode {
  \rptChord ees8 6 \rptChord bes8 2 |
  \rptChord ees8 4 \rptChord bes8 4
}

... or something similar.
