Unfortunately, I've tried to find where it stops doing this, but I cannot provide a small snippet. I'm not sure where it happens... I am happy to forward the attached .ly file for you to fiddle with.
I'm sorry I can't specify a tiny example. I've tried and am getting a
little frustrated (maybe fresh eyes would help).
