Originally, it was 2.14.2-code but still works with 2.17.21.

To make it work with versions > 2.14.2 delete the $-sign in the
function or run convert-ly.

Fine with me. Tagging it with docs puts it into the list of documented
snippets, as opposed to the "manuals" (eg the NR) themselves, and I'm
comfortable with this.
