I probably can't ask for any more at this stage. ;)

Good question. I guess I'm thinking of a situation where one wants to restyle a
certain piece of 'piano' (the "top level") music:

    Berceuse_Henle_concert.ly
        \include Berceuse_notes.ily
        \include piano_Henle_concert.ily

    Berceuse_Barenreiter_letter_landscape.ly
        \include Berceuse_notes.ily
        \include piano_Barenreiter_letter_landscape.ily

Somehow that hierarchy seemed more logical. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Kieren.
