I am new to this forum and to using Lilypond outside of an academic forum (last time I was using it at university, around 2001, with folks I could ask help for in person). Hope you can clarify why http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Snippet?id=838 produces code snippet but http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Item?u=1&id=838 produces typeset result.
