Inserting comments into the log file

I have not found a command to insert a comment placed in the .ly file into the .log file.  This is a useful tool for debugging.  I am trying to find which of my \break commands is not acceptable, and cannot get lilypond to print line number about that.  So, using a comment in the log is usually the way to go.   Paul Thompson
