Hi Any advice on how to achieve the following in LilyPond Automatically.... "for a given pattern of N notes redo the typesetting to put each occurrence of the pattern on a separate staff. making sure to have all other notes still follow the said pattern. " There are many other extensions to this idea that Ethnomusicologists use all the time. If you don't think that Lilypond is the right tool can you think of alternatives?
