Normally that kind of thing is handled by either program changes (in the MIDI) or putting the different articulations on separate tracks (which is really something you'd do in a DAW rather than trying to do it with scoring software). A lot of samplers handle this kind of thing with 'key switching' also... but don't think you can do it in Lilypond. -- Brett W.
