Hi! I am trying to mimick the appearance of the -- for drummers -- nearly obligatory "Stick Control" by G.L. Stone. On Amazon.com you can look inside it to see, att page 5, what I am talking about. To be able to discern between groups of R's and L's they need to be spaced, along with corresponding group of 4 16th notes. I cannot find a way to do this, at least not easily. I am, admittedly, a beginner to Lilypond. Another problem I have is how to, in drummode, display the letters beneath the 16th note groups -- if I add them as lyrics, another staff appears. It seems to me you have to be in some melodic mode to add lyrics. Preferably I would like to copy the behaviour of Stick Control as closely as possible (as it appears on page 5). I am coding a practice program for drummers, but I would like to be able to print out the combinations in PDF-form.
