She either doesn't realize that she needs to compile stuff, or has
a typo somewhere (probably missing {}) and doesn't know where to
find the error log.

Compiling is in one of the menu bars, I think.

First lesson of helping people is that they haven't read what they
thought they read.  ;)
(in this case, I mean that she missed one or two vital details.
She doesn't realize that she missed them, of course, but we do)

She *should* be able to read

and follow the screenshots.

Of course, since nobody's contributed screenshots along with a
nice step-by-step description, she *can't* follow those steps.


Amusingly, the "command-line" tutorial has the most clear
instructions.  :)
