If your score was processed correctly, you'll have obtained both PostScript and PDF files. First make sure that lilypond did not print any errors and then try to open and view the PDF with another program. If it is not viewable, try to open the PS, because it is possible for the xpdf program to be unable to open certain [valid] PDF files. -- Francisco Vila.
