Hi guys, I'm typesetting some music, and instead of looking through the output pdf to check if it's all correct, I'd rather use MIDI and listen, see if there's anything that sounds out of place (as you do).
I've added the \midi { } block. Tick. I've put a \layout { } block above it, to get me pdf output too. Tick. I've put both at the end of the \score block. Tick. Then, when I compile my music, is when things start happening (or not, as it were). The MIDI file doesn't get created (though the pdf does, which is at least something) and I'm at a loss to what I should do. There's no mention of the MIDI file, no errors, no confirmations, nothing. I recently changed from 2.10 to 2.11.49, and the way I used to make a MIDI output of my music doesn't work anymore. Is there anything different I should be doing for 2.11? The MIDI sections for the 2.10 and 2.11 documentation look about the same to me, but I could have overlooked something.
