Mats, That works OK, thanks. I'm puzzled as to the cause of the tight spacing, though, because the overrides used in the score are not unusual. The problem seems worst with whole notes on ledger lines in measures that also contain running eighth notes. Thanks for the note on repeated spaces as well.
