Sometimes it can be a *very* narrow margin between getting one or two (or 2-3) systems per page, especially for SATB-choir-plus-piano scores. Try shrinking the piano staff size (if you haven't already) - that often works really well on several levels. Shrink the amount of space available for lyrics (if you're using lyrics - they can suck a surprising amount of space) and use a smaller (different?) font for lyrics. And of course try reducing the page top/bottom margins. Once you've managed to get two systems on a page, then re-adjust things in the other direction - try to find the sweet (or the least sour) spot that balances your two-systems requirement with the fairly important not- having-horribly-tiny-and-squished-music requirement. :) > Charles Pete. -- Every time I hear an OO purist talk, I want to pick up my bat object, come to their house object, and start bashing their skull object. -- hardburn on kuro5hin.org _______________________________________________ lilypond-user mailing list lilypond-user@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user
