Your lilypond version is 2.10.12. Mine 2.11.27; the result is similar, just the third text area is in page 1 instead of page 2. Maybe because the markup is now more score-independant? or for another reason?
After printing and looking very carefully/precisely at you snippet with 2.11.27, with and without ragged-bottom, it appears that: 1) with ragged-bottom the text is closer of the staves. 2) closer is true for both the text before and text after the scores. 3) "closer" is about 1mm closer. In my initial question i meant 2cm closer. i didn't find anything about it in the snippet.
