Well, i use 2.10.20;
and this can be used in tex file like this:

\lilypondfile[system-count=12]{music.ly}
---------

I haven't tried to parse .ly for looking for "paper" options.

I definitely need "system-count" set and honoured; i have read the manual
and i didn't find other ("proper") solution.
