\override DynamicText #'self-alignment-X = #1
along with an X-offset makes this work well with dynamic markings of
different lengths: no need to adjust separately for \p, \pp, \ppp, and
\pppp.

Hmmm.. Actually, there seems to be some trickiness here...  I don't
know what it is.  Some places it seems to work, and some places it
seems not to.  Oh well.
