Hi folks, I have a couple os lilypond files which repeat some of the usual messages during compilation. A normal run might look like this:
GNU LilyPond 2.10.16 Processing foo.ly' Parsing... Interpreting music... [3] Preprocessing graphical objects... Layout output to foo.ps'... Converting to foo.pdf'... However, one file does this: GNU LilyPond 2.10.16 Processing foo.ly' Parsing... Interpreting music... Interpreting music... Interpreting music... [3] Preprocessing graphical objects... Layout output to foo.ps'... Converting to foo.pdf'... Notice the extra two 'Interpreting music...' lines? I have one file that does this: GNU LilyPond 2.10.16 Processing foo.ly' Parsing... Interpreting music... [8][16][24][26] Preprocessing graphical objects... Interpreting music... Preprocessing graphical objects... Calculating line breaks... Drawing systems... Interpreting music... Preprocessing graphical objects... Calculating line breaks... Drawing systems... Interpreting music... Preprocessing graphical objects... Calculating line breaks... Drawing systems... . . . Interpreting music... [1] Preprocessing graphical objects... Calculating line breaks... Drawing systems... Layout output to foo.ps'... Converting to foo.pdf'... The repeated lines iterate about sixty times.
