If I use the following code snippet: <b gis e>4_\fermata\mf
the fermata will appear touching the mf as per attachment 1. Also if I use the following: \set stringNumberOrientations = #'(down) <g,\4>8 The number 4 will appear touching the stem of the note as per attachment 2. How can the above 2 be overriden?
