So the solution is to set the barnumber manually - \set
Score.currentBarNumber = #... ?!

Though in this case it is not necessary to number this way, because both
guitars have the same repeats at the same place, it leads to confusion when
somebody refers to measure numbers in the one edition and the others have
first to add or deduct the number of the repeated measures to get to the
right place...
(except for some pieces where some instruments have different music
in the two repeats, so they have the repeat printed out, whereas the rest
of the instrumental parts were typeset with repeats).
