I don't know what's wrong with Lilypond, but something's happened to it, and now when it starts to parse my .ly files, it will just stop processing and open outdated .pdf files.
I'm using the pre-built LilyPond.app packages on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.7 with an iBook G4. My cousin was trying to run the Mac versions of Lilypond.app on her Intel MacBook Pro (using the Intel Lilypond.app of course), and it seems to be doing the exact same thing, stopping without any explanation while it's parsing. The LilyPond.app versions I'm using are 2.8.6-1 and 2.9.15-1, and both of them exhibit this same symptom. I'm going to try to build a command-line lilypond using Fink, as soon as I get as I install the latest version of the Xcode Tools that I'm downloading right now, and see if that provides any further insight. But if that doesn't give me any further diagnostic messages, then I don't know what to do! Can anybody help me out? I really haven't a clue how to fix this!
