Hello. [I'm sorry to bother the list with mail management problems; in case there is a better place, please let me know.]
Earlier today, I already mentioned there were big delays, and in fact I've now received the posting (with subject "Auto-beam override") which I thought was lost. Here is an excerpt of the mail header: Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=lists.gnu.org) by lists.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.43) id 1FChdI-0003cW-Hd for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Fri, 24 Feb 2006 13:25:36 -0500 Received: from mailman by lists.gnu.org with tmda-scanned (Exim 4.43) id 1FCB4p-00029h-TD for lilypond-user@gnu.org; Thu, 23 Feb 2006 02:39:52 -0500 Received: from exim by lists.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.43) id 1FC9ZB-0006Vt-4G for lilypond-user@gnu.org; Thu, 23 Feb 2006 01:04:04 -0500 Received: from [199.232.76.173] (helo=monty-python.gnu.org) by lists.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.43) id 1FC3os-0005ui-HA for lilypond-user@gnu.org; Wed, 22 Feb 2006 18:54:55 -0500 Received: from [193.74.71.23] (helo=oola.is.scarlet.be) by monty-python.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.52) id 1FC3vS-0005ZS-4s for lilypond-user@gnu.org; Wed, 22 Feb 2006 19:01:43 -0500 It show thats the mail had been in transit in "lists.gnu.org" during ~6 hours ("spam-scanned"), plus ~1 hour and a half ("tmda-scanned") and finally ~35 hours, totalling to over 42 hours! This is rather long, isn't it? Are the maintainers of the machines/softwares involved aware of the problem? Is this going to be fixed, or should we be getting used to the situation?
