Starting from 2.6, it should work. Oh yes, good; since \huge gave only a 12% increase in size, I didn't see the difference when I looked at the minuscule SToccata symbol in the PDF output. But when I wrote \markup { \override #'(font-name . "SToccata") \fontsize #18 XX } that made the resulting symbol big enough to be seen without a microscope.
