No disrespect, but I think you're saying that you gave up with locality of
reference,
because your frontend/editor makes it possible for you to work without
having it.
I see it, but I also would rather not _have_ to do this.

Mind you, the same identical argument implies that \parallelMusic itself is
completely unneeded, because you can just point and click. And yet, I find
it
super handy for 3 voice guitar works especially, saves me so much time
during
editing.

This is precisely the problem with neonscribe's work: his support
library is so complex that you're not feeling like you're using lilypond
anymore (again, arguably like LaTeX vs plain TeX, in theory this could
be desirable, in a way)
